CitySafe Markhouse
CitySafe Markhouse is an initiative which has pioneered by London Citizens. St Barnabas (a member of London Citizens) is hoping to bring CitySafe to our area (Markhouse Ward) and create a long-lasting CitySafe legacy in the area. CitySafe responds to anti-social behavior and violence within our communities and encourages residents to work together to take ownership of local safety issues.
The scheme aims to build a network of people who share the vision for a stronger and safer community. This is achieved through one -to one discussions of people’s ideas about safety which is then fed back to the organisation. This is a strong campaign that can deliver concrete results and develop long-lasting relationships within the ward. Ben Tainsh-Griffiths is a CitySafe organiser who is working alongside residents in the Markhouse Ward and is keen to involve as many residents as possible in this campaign. If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact Ben and/or meet him on 26th February 0787 350 8501; ben.tainsh-griffiths@londoncitizens.org.uk; www.citizensuk.org/citysafe
